Roger Federer Clinches Shanghai Open Title

Roger Federer  Clinches  Shanghai open title with straight set victory against Frenchman Giles Simon.  Simon left the court for a medical timeout at the end of the first set. The Frenchman was bidding to win his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crown, after he finished runner-up against Andy Murray in first final six years ago in Spain. Federer is leading Simon 4-2 in their FedEx ATP Head to Head series and has also won his last four meetings with Frenchman. The Swiss native is looking for closing the gap on Novak Djokovic in the tough battle to finish the season as a World No. 1 in the Fly Emirates ATP Rankings. He will return to the Number 2 on Monday, overtaking Spaniard Rafael Nadal. The Swiss despite getting older is in his best form this year after defeating Novak Djokovic in Straight sets in the open semis. Experts say that Federer has changed his game and is now more in attacking mode.
